Lovely view of Cotopaxi, Electronic shades in rooms, Good water pressure in bathrooms
Soundproofing needs improvement!!! I could hear street noise and guests' footsteps, even with supposed soundproof windows!!! Some furniture feels outdated and could use a refresh for a more inviting atmosphere!!!

The accommodations were very nice, clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We were only there a very short time, but enjoyed the extensive buffet breakfast! The roses in the lobby and at turn-down, along with the chocolate, is a wonderful touch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.

The king room is beautifully maintained and has a mini fridge bar, an air conditioning, and a personal safe.

The room was spacious and well-furnished, though it lacked
Some modern amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was eager to assist. The noise from the street was a bit bothersome at night, which detracted from our overall experience.

The lovely staff all round. A work desk, tea/coffee making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels available in the premier room. A wide array of food at breakfast, such as milk and eggs...

Location, cleanliness, facilities and breakfast are important factors that make it still an option.
I have seen with some surprise that the attention you had months ago from the staff has not been the quality it used to be. After the check in someone always offered to carry your bags, accompanied you to the room and explained the amenities, travel in groups with colleagues and each had to bring his suitcase and find his room on his own, were not received with the drink or hand towel that the hotel was accustomed. In the elevators, when there were two more people, they were chatting rather than being attentive even to the possible needs of the guests. I could even go on with the inconvenience of long delays in the hotel bar, or orders never satisfied at breakfast time but I should go on much longer than I have already done . It would seem like minor things, which probably in another hotel would not be a major inconvenience, but it is not the kind of service that the Swissotel used to offer.

It was just a perfect match for a short staycation in Quito with a reasonable price. Room service was efficient and prompt,. Just make sure to check the deposit policy before you arrive to avoid any surprises.

I found the hotel online and they had nice photos. But when I arrived, I was disappointed as it was expensive for the quality of the rooms. They were dated and a bit run down.
For the price they charge, I would expect more. I stayed at other hotels in Quito that had lower rates and were much nicer. They need an upgrade of their facilities asap.

Did not have reservation on record. Room was dated with older tv. Not reflective of website. Internet did not work.

The room was well-equipped and brand-new with a window that opened onto mountain. The staff was highly professional, and the service was excellent. I stayed 6 nights and loved the comfy and unbeatable location in the center of the business district. Found Casa Nuestra right next to the hotel where I had supper.

Plot twist, it's actually great!
From the spacious room with fine views to the exquisite breakfast buffet with glorious shrimp ceviche and churros, every detail was meticulously curated. The staff were friendly, and I loved the ethical water station in the lobby. This gem is a must-visit!

The hotel was fantastic for our family getaway! The staff was attentive. We loved our spacious Swiss Executive King Room with amazing views. The breakfast spread was a good start to our days, and we even explored Amrita, intrigued by its mystical charm.
In my wife's opinion, a kids' play area would enhance the experience.

The Swissotel in Quito exceeded my expectations in several ways. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival and offered a refreshing drink. The room I stayed in was a spacious business suite, very clean, with a comfortable bed and an effective air conditioning system. The breakfast spread was excellent-lots of fresh options, and the omelettes made to order were a highlight. I appreciated the complimentary filtered water station in the lobby. The mixed-use development with shopping options below was convenient, but the location in a business district felt a bit detached for leisure activities. One downside was the noise from the AC unit, which could be disruptive at times. I would have liked a bit more character in the surroundings, perhaps something unique to Quito. Despite this, the wellness center and pool area had a great ambiance. Room service was prompt, and they even set up an outdoor dining experience for me, good. A comfortable stay with minor details needing attention.
